Achievements

After the school's establishment, one staff obtained the high-level creative talent plan (key disciplines) of Jiangsu Province; one staff won a honor of the young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province; one staff gained the funding by Six Talent Peak Project of Jiangsu Province; one staff became the training object of young  and middle-aged academic leaders by Qing Lan Project of Jiangsu Province; three staff were as the training objects of high-level talents by 333 Project of Jiangsu Province; one staff earned a title of the seventh batch of overseas leading innovative and entrepreneurial talent in Changzhou City. The school faculties published 62 important papers, 4 three major retrieval papers and 3monographs. They applied for 42 patents (including 9 authorized patents), 5 of which had passed the provincial or ministerial appraisal. In 2011, the school gained more than ten million Yuan scientific research funds, and undertook more than 40 scientific research projects, 5 of which won national-lever projects. The researcher Yue Zhang took charge of a research subject of national science and technology support program “new technology of ultra low formaldehyde release, urea formaldehyde resin manufacturing and application technology development in fiber board”. The success of the subject in the Ministry of Science has significant implications in enhancing the level of scientific research for the school, extracting scientific research direction, and expanding the influence of scientific research. In the meantime, the success played an important part in the production-featured and application-oriented research tradition of the school.
