New drug discovery and process development

任杰、胡昆两位副教授带队的新药发现及工艺开发团队，主要致力于从事炎性相关疾病、癌症及老年痴呆等疾病预防治疗药物的设计、合成、活性评价、工艺开发及中药活性物质基础研究与开发相关的教学和科研工作。主持国家自然科学青年基金、江苏省产学研项目、江苏省科技支撑计划项目、江苏省普通高校自然科学研究项目、常州市应用基础研究项目、常州市社会发展项目各1项，江苏省企业博士集聚计划2项；参与国家自然科学基金面上项目、科技部863计划青年科学家项目各1项、主持沈阳药科大学、江苏丹晟生物科技有限公司、江苏创英医疗器械有限公司、常州星易迪塑化科技有限公司、常州药物研究所有限公司等企事业单位委托项目多项。在制药科学国内外主流期刊发表学术论文60余篇，其中SCI收录30余篇。申请发明专利23项；其中授权11项。

Dr. Jie Ren and Dr. Kun Hu, Associate professors and master tutors of the School of Pharmacy in Changzhou University. They are mainly engaged in the teaching and research on Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry. Their research interests cover from the design, synthesis, activity evaluation, process development of preventive and therapeutic drugs for inflammation-related diseases, cancer, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's disease to the research of active substances of traditional Chinese medicine. They preside over 1 National Natural Science Youth Fund of China, 1 Jiangsu Province Industry-University-Research Project, 1 Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Support Program, 2 Project of Enterprise Doctor Talent Gathering Project of Jiangsu Science and Technology Department, 1 Natural Science Research General Project of Jiangsu Education Department, 1 Applied Basic Research Program of Changzhou and 1 Changzhou Social Development Project; and participate in 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program), 1 Young Scientist Project of National High-Tech R&D Program of China (863 program); and preside over more than 6 enterprises and institutions entrusted development projects from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Jiangsu Dansheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd, Jiangsu Trausim Medical Instrument Co., Ltd., Changzhou Xingyidi Plastic Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., Changzhou Institute of Materia Medica Co., Ltd. More than 60 academic papers have been published in international mainstream journals of pharmaceutical sciences including over 30 SCI papers. 11 application of 23 invention patents are authorized.
